First, some numbers. With its opening night concert on Thursday, the Pacific Symphony will launch its 30th anniversary season, and its third in the $245 million Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. The concert will also officially inaugurate (as opposed to demonstrate) the William J. Gillespie Concert Organ, installed and voiced over the last year, with four manuals and 4,322 pipes.
