Fisk in Nashville
Scheduled for installation in 2009, Opus 134 will stand at the top of the choral risers in the front of the new nave of Covenant Presbyterian Church. The 48-foot tall, 20-ton, red oak organ is currently being built in the shop in Gloucester while the church is under construction in Nashville. Designed by architects Bullock, Smith and Partners, with acoustical consultant Dana Kirkegaard, the new space and the excellent placement will allow the organ to speak into a near perfect environment.
