Featured Organ
We are pleased and excited to announce a new commission for two organs at Hong Kong Baptist University. HKBU is among the most highly regarded universities in Asia and is currently in the midst of an important new building project pictured here. The new Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC3), designed by P&T Architects & Engineers Ltd., along with interior designer Meta4 Design Forum Ltd. and acoustic consultant Shen Milsom & Wilke, is currently under construction. The facility’s state-of-the-art Multi-Purpose Space will be home to Fisk Opus 158, a 3-manual, 33-stop teaching and recital organ, while a purpose-designed practice room will house Opus 159, a 3-manual, 7-stop instrument. Organist Elizabeth Wong, Dean of the Hong Kong Chapter of the AGO, has served as advisor to the University during the lengthy organbuilder selection and contracting process, steadfastly shepherding the organ projects through the multiple levels of governance.
